Payment and Refund Policy

This Payment and Refund Policy applies to Housing Bridge Inc. trainings, workshops, housing clinics, consulting services, technical assistance, digital materials, invoices, and related paid services.

Last updated: Nov 25, 2025

Important payment notice

Unless this policy or a written agreement says otherwise, Housing Bridge payments are final once submitted. Refunds are limited and are generally issued only when Housing Bridge cancels or materially reschedules a paid service, or when a duplicate charge or payment processing error is confirmed.

1. Scope of This Policy

This policy applies to paid Housing Bridge trainings, webinars, workshops, in-person sessions, housing clinic supports, consulting services, technical assistance, digital materials, invoices, and other paid services.

If a signed agreement, proposal, statement of work, grant-funded arrangement, or written contract includes separate payment or cancellation terms, those written terms control for that specific service.

2. Final Sale Policy

All training registrations, workshop seats, housing clinic payments, consulting payments, technical assistance payments, and digital material purchases are final unless this policy or a written agreement states otherwise.

Housing Bridge does not provide refunds for missed sessions, schedule conflicts, failure to attend, late arrival, failure to complete participation requirements, participant technology issues, change of mind, or failure to use purchased materials or services.

No automatic refunds

Submitting payment does not create a right to a refund. Refund requests are reviewed only under the limited circumstances described in this policy.

3. Training Registrations

Training seats are reserved once payment is submitted or an invoice is confirmed. Because seats, preparation time, materials, and scheduling capacity are limited, missed trainings are not refunded.

  • No refund is issued for participant no-shows.
  • No refund is issued for late arrivals or early departures.
  • No refund is issued if a participant cannot attend because of a scheduling conflict.
  • No refund is issued if a participant does not meet certificate requirements.
  • No refund is issued for participant-side technology issues, including internet, device, email, calendar, or Zoom access issues.

Certificates, when offered, may be limited to participants who meet attendance and completion requirements.

4. Transfers and Credits

Housing Bridge may allow a one-time transfer to another available training session when the request is submitted at least 48 hours before the original session start time.

  • Transfer requests are subject to availability.
  • Transfers are not guaranteed.
  • Only one transfer is allowed per registration unless Housing Bridge approves otherwise in writing.
  • Transfer credits have no cash value and may not be resold.
  • If the participant does not attend the transferred session, the payment is forfeited.

Housing Bridge may offer a credit instead of a transfer when a comparable session is not immediately available. Credits may be applied only to eligible Housing Bridge trainings or services.

5. Housing Bridge Cancellations or Material Schedule Changes

If Housing Bridge cancels a paid training, workshop, housing clinic, or service, registrants will be offered the option of a rescheduled date, a credit toward a future eligible Housing Bridge service, or a refund.

If Housing Bridge materially reschedules a paid session and the registrant is unable to attend the new date, the registrant may request a refund or a credit toward a future eligible Housing Bridge training or service.

A material schedule change includes a significant change to the session date, start time, duration, or format that prevents the registrant from reasonably attending or receiving the service originally purchased.

A minor administrative change, presenter substitution, correction of a typographical error, adjustment to session materials, or non-substantial format update does not automatically create a right to a refund.

6. Custom Trainings, Housing Clinics, Consulting, and Technical Assistance

Custom trainings, housing clinic supports, consulting work, implementation support, workflow development, and technical assistance require preparation time and reserved scheduling capacity.

Unless a written agreement says otherwise, payments for custom services are non-refundable once scheduling, preparation, planning, materials development, coordination, or service delivery has begun.

If an organization needs to reschedule a custom service, Housing Bridge may approve a one-time reschedule when reasonable notice is provided and scheduling capacity is available. Rescheduling is not guaranteed.

Failure by the purchasing organization to provide needed information, attend scheduled meetings, make staff available, or use delivered materials does not create a right to a refund.

7. Digital Materials and Downloadable Resources

Digital materials, downloadable resources, templates, forms, checklists, recordings, toolkits, and similar products are non-refundable once access has been provided, a link has been sent, a file has been downloaded, or the material has been delivered.

Housing Bridge materials may not be copied, resold, redistributed, rebranded, published, uploaded, or commercially reused without written permission from Housing Bridge.

8. Payment Processing, Pricing, and Errors

Housing Bridge may use third-party payment processors, including Stripe or similar platforms, to process payments. Payment information is handled by the applicable payment processor.

Housing Bridge aims to clearly display the price of trainings, services, invoices, and paid resources before payment is submitted. If a required fee or charge applies, it should be disclosed before purchase.

Duplicate payments, incorrect charges, or confirmed payment processing errors will be reviewed and corrected when verified. Housing Bridge may request documentation needed to review the payment issue.

Payment processor fees, platform fees, or transaction fees may be non-refundable unless required by law, caused by a confirmed processing error, or connected to a cancellation by Housing Bridge.

9. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks

Before filing a payment dispute or chargeback, purchasers should review this policy and contact Housing Bridge to request review of the issue.

If a chargeback or payment dispute is opened, Housing Bridge may suspend access to training seats, certificates, materials, portals, housing clinic supports, consulting work, or other services while the dispute is reviewed.

Filing a chargeback does not override this policy, the Terms of Use, or any written agreement between Housing Bridge and the purchaser.

10. Policy Updates

Housing Bridge may update this Payment and Refund Policy from time to time. When updates are made, the “Last updated” date at the top of this page may be revised.

The policy in effect at the time of purchase generally applies to that purchase unless a written agreement states otherwise or a change is required by law.
